A Dickens Experience is Almost Here!
Once again on December 12, 2015, the streets of New Castle will be transformed into a Charles Dickens' era experience during The Spirit of Christmas town-wide event. In addition to A Christmas Carol street theater performances, NCHS will extend the celebration to host Fezziwig's Ball on Friday, December 11 and 3 seatings for English Tea at 11am, 1pm and 3pm at The Arsenal. Tickets for each ticketed event are available now.

Museums Open for Tours
The Amstel House & Dutch House are currently open for walk-in daily tours and reserved group visits. Tickets can now be purchased at The Arsenal at 30 Market Street in Old New Castle.

The Arsenal Gets Social!
The Arsenal on FacebookIn early 2015, NCHS moved offices and headquarters to The Arsenal at 30 Market Street in New Castle. The Arsenal now houses our newly expanded Museum Shop and Visitor Center, Society Office and archives and collections. In addition, The Arsenal is also available for rental to host private parties and events. Current NCHS Members also receive a discount on event rentals. This spectacular building, rich in history, is the perfect backdrop to your next function!
